We have been having a VERY good trolling bite for the big fish.  Our goal for 2010
was to chase the big gurls.  We have caught countless Fish Ohio sized walleyes
from the Camp Perry firing Range east thru the Bass Islands and now targeting
them in the Lorain and Huron, Ohio ports.  We
recently returned from a long
weekend in Kenosha, WI chasing some salmon and had a very enjoyable
weekend putting 37 salmon in the cooler!  Now our focus is the bullet up
north...The Steelhead in Wheatley and Erieau, Ontario on the north shores of Lake
Erie!

The TRN crew made is through another successful waterfowl season with 7
trophy birds taken to go on the wall.  Ice fishing was good on the inland lakes and
harbors, but a struggle on Lake Erie with poor ice conditions.  We only felt safe
going out one weekend and took a decent number of eyes in a quick morning trip.
Now that the ice is gone, we are now ready and geared up for the start to our 2010
season!

We had a few new additions this past year to the TRN family.  Captain JD and his
wife had a boy on 02.04.2010 and named him Nolan Jerome.  First Mate Todd
Miller and his wife had a girl on 08.17.2009 and named her Makayla Marie.  Both
are healthy and looking forward to the first trip on the Reel Naughty!

We had a very successful season in 2009 and hope to follow suit once again in
2010.  We have a great line-up of tournaments and fishing trips planned making
this a season we are really look forward to.

We were lucky enough to be approached by Roy Bishop, the owner of Gale Force
Tackle, to become their first sponsored pro staff team for his company.  We are
very excited to use the products in the upcoming season.  His company makes
some of the Great Lakes finest trolling lures and components.  Please check out
their site @
www.GaleForceTackle.com and tell him that TRN recommended his
company.
Watch the promo video on our 'Fishing Links' page of his gear in
action!

I will be working on some additional updates over the next few weeks, but I have
added some new pictures that can be found
here.

We wish you all a safe and successful season!
